Maternity sessions focus on capturing the beauty, strength, and emotion of pregnancy in a natural and meaningful way. These sessions are relaxed and gently guided, resulting in authentic images you’ll treasure for years to come.

Family
A family session can consist of immediate family, extended family, or just the kiddos. These can be done outdoors or in your own home. These sessions include a mix of posed and candid shots to be delivered in a digital gallery.
Starting at $175
NB + Baby Lifestyle
Done within the first month of life in a "lifestyle" way. This means photos of the family as a whole interacting with the newborn and photos of baby alone in naturally posed ways.

Couples
Newly engaged or just want to document the love you share? This session is for you! These can be done outdoors or in your own home. These sessions include a mix of posed and candid shots to be delivered in a digital gallery.

Senior + Individuals
Whatever your reason for solo pictures may be, this package can be tailored to fit your style and needs. Locations can vary. These sessions include a mix of posed and candid shots to be delivered in a digital gallery.

Mini Sessions
Mini sessions will be offered at different times throughout the year. These will each have a styled theme. Examples may include Mommy + Me, Spring, Christmas, etc. These sessions will be at a given location and booked in 10 minute time slots.

FAQ
How should we dress for our family session?
What you wear should depend on the location chosen, but as a general rule of thumb, your outfit should stand out from your background (ex. if you choose a location in a large, grassy field you should wear deep or bright colors as opposed to all green). Neutrals are always a great choice, as well. Clothing with movement helps to bring the photos to life! I will be happy to send you some Pinterest ideas with color palette and outfit suggestions for you if that is something you would like!
What’s the best time to have a session?
If possible, I recommend morning or evening sessions for optimal lighting.
Where are you located? What area do you service?
I focus on the Elk Rapids area. However I photograph anywhere from Petoskey to Traverse City I am willing to travel with an additional fee.
What "Style" Of Photography Can I Expect To Get With You?
My editing style is natural and true to color, with soft warmth and gentle brightness that keeps images timeless and authentic.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of photos you receive will vary from session to session depending on many factors. However, you can typically expect a minimum of 15 photos for a family session with the option to purchase more.
Where do sessions take place?
We’re so lucky to have such beautiful scenery here in Northern Michigan! For our session you get to choose the location. Sessions can be held outdoors or in your home. If you’re not sure where to go, I’m happy to help with ideas or pick the perfect spot for you.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive your photos in a digital gallery via email. From there you will be able to download them and/or order prints.
When can you expect to receive your photos?
I will often upload a couple of photos as a sneak peek within 24-48 hours. Your whole gallery will be delivered via email within 21 days for regular sessions, 30 days for small events, and 90 days for large events. I do my best to get your gallery to you as soon as possible as I know you're excited to receive your images!
How long is a session?
I focus on making sure we get the shots that matter most, rather than sticking to an exact timeframe. You can expect a session to last about 45
minutes, but no longer than an hour at a single location.
